Privacy and Design Salon, Pacific Northwest College of Art, WPF speaking

This Wednesday at 5:30 the Pacific Northwest College of Art is hosting an informal conversation on designing workable and just digital privacy systems and policies in the Collaborative Design studio with Pam Dixon of World Privacy Forum, and Dawn Nafus, Senior Research Scientist at Intel as well as members of the Collaborative Design faculty.

Some of the topics for discussion include national ID cards, data paternalism, individual health data monitoring, privacy impact assessments, and various privacy policies outside the United States. We’ll be looking at these issues from the perspective of our current digital ecosystem and potential future scenarios for digital privacy.

This salon is by invitation only. If you are interested in attending, please contact WPF prior to noon on Wednesday.
