WPF will be speaking at and co-moderating a pre-conference workshop at the IAPP Global Privacy Summit. Co-moderater will be Jim Halpert of DLA Piper.

NTIA Mobile App MS Process: Definitive Information, Insight, and Advice from the Core Drafting Group and the NTIA facilitator

This preconference workshop is an in-depth discussion of the new U.S. Department of Commerce’s voluntary NTIA mobile short form privacy notice from the people in the core multistakeholder drafting group, developers, and the NTIA’s facilitator.  This session will be a must for anyone seeking to either understand the new mobile privacy code further, who is implementing it, or thinking about mobile privacy issues generally. The session will offer valuable and practical information on the technology, implementation, the politics and policies, and what it all means. The session will include detailed case studies of actual implementations of the code.
